Dr. Ioannis Papadopoulos: Specialist Prosthodontist and Senior Clinical Lecturer QMUL

Dr. Ioannis graduated from the Dental School of Athens and following that worked as a dentist at the 401 Military Hospital of Athens as part of his military training. After that, he worked in private practice doing general dentistry, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry in Athens, before moving to London.

In 2018 he completed his 3-year Prosthodontic training at the Royal London Dental Hospital, and was awarded his Doctor of  Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) degree from Queen Mary University of London with a Distinction grade. He also completed the M Pros examination and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2022 he completed  a 2-year post graduate degree in Academic Practice aimed at enhancing teaching practice, and he was accepted as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Ioannis is a GDC registered Specialist in Prosthodontics working privately in different locations of London. He has a position as a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Prosthodontics at Queen Mary University of London, supervising and teaching dentists who are training to become specialists.  He is also currently involved in teaching of newly qualified dentists as part of their Dental Foundation scheme, and is an examiner for the Prosthodontic Diploma of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Ioannis attends national and international congresses regularly, keeping up to date with the latest evidence in Prosthodontics. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been awarded several prizes, including the British Society of Prosthodontics Oral Presentation Prize.

He is an active member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the the British Dental Association (BDA). Furthermore, in 2023 he was accepted as a Fellow of the ITI, a position that fewer than 80 members have in the UK & Ireland section.

Ioannis is experienced in all aspects of fixed and removable Prosthodontics, including restoration of damaged and missing teeth, dental implants, dental aesthetics, and digital dentistry.

Dr Jassar El Jabouri: Dentist with Special Interest In Endodontics

Dr Jassar El Jabouri is a dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment). He has over 15 years of experience with extensive clinical and mentoring experience in complex endodontics and cosmetic dentistry using intra-oral cameras (Sopro) and endodontic microscopes (Zeiss and Kaps). He has performed over 5,000 root canal treatments under microscope and mentored over 50 dentists in the past 15 years.

He has a keen interest in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry and has a strong passion for Endodontics (Root Canal treatment). His dentistry is centred on quality patient care, building on lasting rapport and trust.

Timothy has completed a 2 year Post-Graduate Diploma in Endodontics at King’s College London Dental Institute and was awarded with distinction. Here, Timothy treated more complicated referral patients from General Practice for Root Canal Treatment.

Outside of work, Narma loves cooking and running, although her 6 year old likes to ensure she doesn’t get too much ‘free-time’.

Dr. Juanita Paydar: Specialist Orthodontist

Dr. Juanita Paydar is a specialist orthodontist with 25 years of experience. She qualified as a dentist from Kings College London and also completed her masters in orthodontics at Kings College.

In addition to carrying out fixed braces treatment for adults and children, Juanita has gained additional certifications in lingual braces and clear aligner systems. She is an Invisalign Gold provider.

Dr. Ramona Ravikumar pursued speciality training in Periodontology at Guy’s Dental Hospital following years of gaining clinical experience in general and hospital dentistry. She was awarded the MClinDent degree in Periodontology and Membership in Periodontics’ from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).

Ramona is passionate about minimally invasive periodontal surgery, regeneration and periodontal medicine. She is attentive to detail and strives to provide holistic treatment, tailored to the patient.

Dr. Akeel gained his bachelor degree of dentistry from the University of Jordan in 2002. He worked in different hospitals in the UK in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In 2004 he obtained the membership of the faculty of dentistry/Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFDRCSI) followed by the fellowship in oral surgery and medicine FFDRCSI (OSOM) from the same college in 2007.

In 2014, he obtained the board certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the medical council Jordan. Akeel is a Specialist in Oral Surgery and has a special interest in dental implants. He passed the diploma in implant dentistry (Dip Imp Dent) from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2016.

Dr. Akeel also has an interest in academic work. He is the author of three surgical books and has many publications in very reputable surgical journals. He has experience training trainee dentists in hospital environments and experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Dr. Akeel is a qualified seditionist. He can deliver safe IV sedation for nervous patients. He accepts referrals for all types of oral surgery work including but not inclusively complex extractions, biopsies, oral medicine, jaw joint and facial pain, dental implants, bone grafting and sinus lift augmentation.
